OCCS Teacher of the Year Nomination
We are thrilled to announce the OCCS Teacher of the Year Award, a new initiative designed to recognize the exceptional educators within our community who go above and beyond to inspire, challenge, and support our students.

Purpose of the Award:
This prestigious award will honor an outstanding educator who has demonstrated:
✔️ Excellence in teaching
✔️ Innovation in the classroom
✔️ A deep commitment to student success
✔️ Positive contributions to the school and community

What Does the Teacher of the Year Receive?
The winner of this esteemed award will be recognized at the OCCS Convocation in August. Additionally, the winner will receive:
✨ A professional development prize package of $1,000
✨ A commemorative plaque to honor their dedication
✨ Feature in OCCS newsletters and social media platforms

ELIGIBILITY:

✔️ Nominee must be retained for the 2026-2027 school year
✔️ Application must be completed by a school leader or leadership team member
✔️ A school can submit multiple nominations, if they choose
✔️ An educator in an OCCS-sponsored school

DEADLINE: Applications will close on June 30, 2026

NOTIFICATION: The winner of the Teacher of the Year award and their nominator will be notified and invited to attend the OCCS Annual Convocation on August 6, 2026.
